Pre-Screening & Qualification

From digital campaigns to community outreach, we meet participants where they are – online, in clinics, and in their communities.Our Enrollment Center team ensures each potential participant is pre-screened and ready for the next step at the study site.

  • Online Pre-Screening: Participants will complete a high-level online pre-screener to find out if they may qualify.
  • Secondary Pre-Screening by Phone: Our Enrollment Center team will reach out to qualified candidates using a protocol-specific pre-screening questionnaire to determine if they may be eligible to ensure only the most qualified patients are passed to the study site for screening.
  • HIPAA-compliant & GDPR certified Representatives: All of our Enrollment Center representatives are professionally trained in data privacy regulations to ensure secure, compliant handling of participant information across all communications.
  • Bilingual and Local Language Support: In the US, our Enrollment Center team can offer pre-screening in both English and Spanish. For recruitment in select other countries, pre-screening will be conducted in the local language by an in-country representative.
Step 3

Referrals and Site Support

Once pre-qualified, the participants will be sent to enrolling sites for the next step in the screening process.

  • Secure Portal: Each site is given access to a secure portal to view participant information and responses to all pre-screening questions.
  • Notification via Email: When new participants are available in the site’s portal, our Site Support team will send an email alerting the site team that details are available. This way, sites do not need to be constantly checking the portal for new leads. They’ll be personally notified each time one is available for their review.
  • Warm Transfers: Qualified participants can also be directly transferred to the site via phone. This way there is no downtime between pre-qualification and speaking to site staff—making for a seamless patient experience.
  • Continued Communication: Our Site Support team will remain in touch with each study site, ensuring your study is always top of mind.
