2016
The First of Its Kind Integrated Research Organization (IRO)
In 2016, John Pothoff, Ph.D. and Chad Moore, partnered to create Elligo Health Research®, a first-of-its-kind Integrated Research Organization (IRO) that uses the advantages already built into healthcare, such as EHR data, real-world patients, and on-demand research infrastructure, to advance and accelerate clinical trials.
2020
Elligo to Take a Leading Position in the Field of Research
Elligo expanded in 2020 with the acquisition of ClinEdge, strengthening our capabilities in site support, patient engagement, and clinical trial delivery.
These strategic additions positioned Elligo as a leading enabler of research in diverse healthcare communities.
2023
Elligo to Take a Leading Position in the Field of Research
In 2023, Barry Simms joined as CEO, bringing a renewed focus on operational excellence, therapeutic alignment, and strategic innovation.
Under Barry’s leadership, Elligo sharpened its efforts in high-growth therapeutic areas such as general medicine, endocrinology, dermatology, neurology, pulmonology and cardiology. We also deepened our commitment to delivering decentralized and hybrid trials that meet patients whether they are at home, at the clinic, or in their community.
