Responsible for operations and strategic planning across all Oracle Industry Global Business Units (GBUs), including Communications, Construction & Engineering, Energy & Water, Financial Services, Food & Beverage, Health Sciences, Healthcare, Hospitality, Local Government and Retail. Responsible for strategic planning, budget & forecast analysis, expense management, product management operations, sales and consulting operations, inside sales, cloud renewals, and M&A sourcing and execution. Key acquisitions completed during tenure include Cerner, Micros, Acme Packet, Tekelec, Textura, and Opower.

Prior to the Oracle GBU Operations role, worked in Oracle Corporate Development managing over 25 M&A transactions and was responsible for over 60 M&A integrations. Prior to Oracle, managed Strategy projects at Accenture. Focused on M&A due diligence and integration projects. Key projects included Cingular-AT&T Wireless merger, HP-Compaq merger, and MCI corporate restructuring. Prior to Accenture, managed strategic planning and marketing projects at Savant – an enterprise software start up focused on systems management. Part of team to commercially launch flagship product, grow revenue and ultimately sell company to Precise Software.

Allen Moseley joined NMP in 1998 and leads the firm’s healthcare practice focused primarily in healthcare information technology and healthcare services. Over his twenty-year plus career at NMP, Allen has invested in a number of sectors of the healthcare market, including payer and provider facing technologies, tech-enabled service platforms, as well as healthcare service companies. He currently represents NMP on the boards of Cariloop, Elligo Health Research, Medix Infusion, Pure Life Renal and Upward Health. Allen was previously a director for several prior NMP investments.

Prior to joining NMP, Allen was an investment banker at The Robinson-Humphrey Company, Merrill Lynch & Co. and Bowles Hollowell Conner & Company and worked extensively in the healthcare and business services industries, advising on a number of initial public offerings, M&A transactions and private placements.

Allen currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Georgia Research Alliance, as well as the Advisory Board of the Institute for the Arts and Humanities at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Allen received a BA from UNC – Chapel Hill, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

John Crumpler

John co-founded Hatteras in 2000 after a successful career as a technology entrepreneur. After a decade in politics and public policy, he was founder and CEO of E-Comm, Inc., a software development and services firm specializing in remote and mobile computing. Following E-Comm’s acquisition by XcelleNet, Inc. (XNET), John ran the services division there until the company was acquired by Sterling Commerce (SE). Following the acquisition John founded Hatteras with Clay Thorp.

At Hatteras, John is responsible for the firm’s investments in healthcare and life science information technology, and overall fund operations.

With his partners at Hatteras John has helped build a seed and early stage venture capital partnership with over $600 million under management in six funds. In that time, he has served on the boards of Synthematix, a chemistry informatics company that was acquired by Symyx Technologies (SMMX); Clinverse, a financial lifecycle management technology provider to contract research organizations (CROs) and pharmaceutical companies, acquired by Bioclinica, Inc.; Bivarus, a survey-based health analytics company acquired by Press Ganey; NurseGrid, the nation’s most widely distributed nurse scheduling platform, acquired by HealthStream; and Medfusion, a leading patient engagement platform, acquired by NextGen. John currently serves on the boards of Iris Healthcare, Elligo Health Research, Wildflower Health, Jumo Health, and as an observer at SafeRide and Clinipace Worldwide. For more than 30 years, I’ve focused on helping development service companies excel in the drug/device development industry.

Currently, I serve as CEO of RQM+, a leading, global MedTech service provider offering consulting, clinical trial, lab, and reimbursement services, as well as technology solutions to support the entire product lifecycle.

In March 2016, I co-founded Elligo Health Research, a company focused on enabling patients and clinicians to participate in clinical trials by providing the needed infrastructure not found at all clinical settings. Currently, I serve as Chairperson of the Board.

From 2011 to 2015, I led Theorem Clinical Research as president and CEO, overseeing the company’s strategy, operational execution and customer experience. In September 2015, after record growth, I led the successful sale of Theorem to Chiltern yielding a record ROI for investors.

Prior to joining Theorem, I served as COO at INC Research. While at INC Research, I helped the company achieve record year-over-year profit by upholding a 40 percent CAGR in sales and revenue for several years. Melissa Daniels is a Managing Director of the Morgan Stanley Expansion Platform and a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley. Ms. Daniels is based in San Francisco where she leads the Expansion Platform’s healthcare activities in addition to her expertise in software/SaaS investing. Ms. Daniels is a member of the Investment Committee for Morgan Stanley’s Next Level Fund, a fund focused on investing in Women and Multicultural founded early-stage companies, as well as a Member of the ESG Steering Committee for the Private Credit & Equity platform. Steven Skolsky

Steven Skolsky has served as the founding principal of Expis-Partners since 2010. A strategic consulting firm to the biotech, pharmaceutical, life science and clinical services sectors, Expis-Partners has focused expertise in commercialization, marketing strategy, drug development, operations, strategic planning and business development.

Mr. Skolsky served as a senior executive at Quintiles Transnational Holdings (now IQVIA) from 2011 to 2016, most recently as Senior Vice president and managing director and formerly, head of global clinical operations. From 2007 to 2011, Mr. Skolsky served as the president and CEO of Sequoia Pharmaceuticals Inc. and from 2004 to 2006 as CEO of Trimeris Inc. Mr. Skolsky joined Trimeris from GlaxoSmithKline, where he had served for more than 20 years in a range of senior leadership roles, including senior vice president, head of global clinical development and commercial strategy, and managing director of GlaxoSmithKline’s operations in Australia and New Zealand.

Mr. Skolsky serves on the board of Novan, Inc. and of Elligo Health Research. He is also on the Foundation Board of the Kenan-Flagler School of Business, the Board of Visitors at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. Previously, he served on the Boards of Clinipace Clinical Research and Adherex Technologies (now Fennec Pharmaceuticals).

Mr. Skolsky holds a B.A. in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Thomas Schnettler

Tom Schnettler is vice chairman of Piper Sandler Companies, president of Piper Sandler Investment Group, a managing director in the merchant banking group, a member of the general partner and serves on the investment committee. He initiated the merchant banking business at Piper Sandler in 2008 and has overseen the division since that time. Schnettler also served as president and chief operating officer of Piper Sandler from 2008 to 2011, and as chief financial officer between 2006 and 2008. Prior to that, Schnettler served as head of the Piper Sandler corporate and institutional services business beginning in 2002, and as head/co-head of investment banking beginning in 2000. From 1989 to 2000, he co-founded and led the healthcare investment banking group. Schnettler joined the Piper Sandler investment banking group in 1986.

Schnettler has served on the board of, or held board observation responsibility for, the following portfolio companies: Torax Medical, Sapphire Digital, OrthoAccel, Sport Ngin, Xenex Disinfection Services, Elligo Health Research, Akoya Biosciences, Paragon 28, Moxe Health and Integrity Orthopaedics. Over the course of his career, he has served many nonprofit organizations including Saint John’s University, The Lillehei Heart Institute at the University of Minnesota, Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis and the American Heart Association.

Schnettler graduated from Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, and holds a Juris doctorate from Harvard Law School.

Megan Greene

Vice President, Contracts and Associate General Counsel

Megan has almost 18 years of pre-clinical, clinical, and pharmaceutical commercialization experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She has worked with CROs, medical consultants, site networks, and post market patient centered service organizations. As Vice President, Contracts & Associate General Counsel, she leads the corporate and commercial contract teams, site contracts and budgets teams, the legal team, and acts a strategic advisor to Elligo.

Prior to joining Elligo, she served as LabConnect’s Vice President of Legal Affairs & Sustainability, where she was responsible for the global commercial contract strategies, corporate legal affairs, and board administrative responsibilities. Megan is accomplished at fostering business growth by combining legal expertise, strong business acumen, and creative problem-solving skills.

Megan is an NC Licensed Attorney. She holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Campbell Law School and has a Bachelor of Science, dual degree, in Psychology and Criminal Justice that she earned from East Carolina University.

Megan lives just outside of Charlotte NC with her husband, daughter, and son. She enjoys working out, boating, snowboarding and volunteering as a church youth group leader.

Katie Eyestone

Katie Eyestone is the Senior Vice President of Research Partnerships. In this role, Katie is responsible for the growth, account management and service model of Elligo’s Study Placement business line, which provides a pipeline of trial opportunities and related services to dedicated research site clients. Katie is also responsible for Elligo’s Network Expansion function, which finds, qualifies and contracts with medical practices, hospitals and health systems interested in conducting research trials with extensive end-to-end support from Elligo. 

With five years of experience at Elligo and decades of prior experience in clinical care and health insurance, Katie has designed and established a robust site qualification process, accelerated trials by reducing the onboarding cycle time for new healthcare research sites by 50%, and leveraged technology and process streamlining to exceed departmental gross margin expectations and improve site experience. 

Katie has a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University. She enjoys traveling, hiking and reading.

Monica Martin

Monica Martin is Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Elligo. She has over 25 years’ experience in HR functions for national and multinational companies with 200 to 10,000 employees here and abroad. She is experienced in acquisitions, IPOs on both NY and Hong Kong stock exchanges, spinoffs, and large management changes. Additionally, has assisted several employers dealing with the challenges of buy-outs from Private Equity, Venture Capital and larger firms.

Monica is a strong corporate player, helping fellow leaders and employees weather a variety of competitive challenges. She developed a deep understanding of the capacities key management of people require to make her employer successful. With expertise in organization structures, dynamic talent acquisition and creating the compensation plans required to attract and keep valuable talent. She delights in helping CEO's form and retain the management teams they need to make the company successful. She masters the HR legal employee requirements required by the State and Federal governments where her entities reside. Finally she builds her HR departments with competent, loyal teams.

Her previous employers include SharkNinja, LEDVANCE, American Tower, Brown Brothers Harriman and Forrester Research. Monica has a B.A. from Kenyon College & Masters in Human Resources and Counseling from Northeastern University. Her hobbies are competitive sailing, horseback riding, travel, and cooking.

Ashley Pleasants

Dr. Ashley Pleasants has over 18 years of experience in the clinical trial industry, with deep expertise in operational oversight and trial delivery. As Senior Vice President of Operations at Elligo Health Research, she leads the execution of clinical trials across the organization’s extensive site network, driving quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Her leadership spans decentralized trials, patient recruitment, and management of cross-functional teams, including marketing and travel operations.

Prior to her current role, Ashley led the global project management group at Synteract, where she managed complex, multi-regional trials across a broad range of therapeutic areas. She has successfully guided numerous investigational products through regulatory pathways/approvals and has significant experience supporting FDA inspections. She is recognized for her ability to align operational execution with strategic goals, ensuring regulatory compliance, patient engagement, and trial efficiency.

Ashley holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics from the University of Virginia. She applies her scientific expertise aligning operational execution with the rigorous demands of clinical research. She is known for building high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and maintaining a steadfast commitment to excellence in clinical trial delivery.

Outside of work, Ashley values time spent outdoors with her husband and two children, who bring energy, joy, and a sense of adventure to everyday life.

Ethan Rooney

Ethan Rooney is the Chief Growth Officer of Elligo Health Research, bringing over 28 years of experience in the clinical trials industry. Ethan started his career in trial operations as a data coordinator, CRA/Monitor, trial, and program manager for global trials in the cardiovascular space. As an entrepreneur Ethan also founded, built, and sold a medical device CRO and is experienced in strategic acquisitions and diligence activities that strengthen a company’s capabilities.  

Before joining Elligo, Ethan served as Chief Revenue Officer at 83bar, a technology enabled patient recruitment firm, as well as several other roles on senior leadership teams with head of sales and marketing responsibilities.  

Ethan holds a B.S. in Biology & biomedical science from University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse, and an MBA from University of St. Thomas. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, and being outdoors as much as possible.

Rob Shepler

Rob Shepler is Chief Product Officer at Elligo, driving the strategy and delivery of innovative technology solutions which power the company’s service offerings for clinical research.  He is responsible for the company’s portfolio of proprietary software products and the product management, design, engineering, and data science functions.

He brings over 25 years of experience in software application development with a passion for simplifying complex problems and providing differentiating solutions.  Prior to Elligo, Rob spent 6 years at Athenahealth leading teams and products within the EHR and practice management space.  He has also spent time in a variety of application development roles supporting eCommerce, data warehousing, ERP, and CRM platforms. 

Rob has a Biomedical Engineering degree from Texas A&M University.  His favorite weekend hobby is slow cooking a variety of meats on his offset barrel BBQ smoker.  As an avid fan and season ticket holder, you might also find him at Dallas Cowboys games or Austin FC matches.

With over 32 years of experience in IT in the Healthcare industry, Dale Mitchell has held executive leadership roles across commercial and healthcare system laboratories as well as central laboratory services.  His focus was on building scalable infrastructures, enhancing data intelligence, and leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency, improve patient outcomes, streamline operations, and enable innovation.

Prior to joining Elligo, Dale served as CIO and Security Officer at LabConnect, a global central laboratory.  He led large-scale enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions and implemented effective frameworks for cybersecurity and risk management. His background also includes leading the implementation of enterprise-grade solutions, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring that technology solutions align with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Dale brings both practical leadership and hands-on technical expertise to his role, helping Elligo remain secure, innovative, and future-ready. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, which includes a pack of canine rescues, as well as quiet time on the lake fishing.

Dr. Faith Holmes is the Chief Medical Officer of Elligo Health Research, bringing over 30 years of medical practice experience, along with serving as a Principal Investigator for clinical trials in the decentralized, hybrid and local site models since joining Elligo in 2019.

Dr. Holmes leads the Medical Affairs team in providing medical, scientific, strategic support and consultation to Elligo's functional areas, clinical investigators, study sponsors and CRO's.

Holmes has investigator experience in over 45 studies across the spectrum of interventional, diagnostic, observational and device studies in therapeutic areas including vaccines, early cancer detection, endocrine/metabolic, respiratory, dermatology, and gastroenterology.

She earned her B.S. in chemistry and biology from Trevecca University and Doctor of Medicine from ORU School of Medicine and is board certified in Family Medicine and in Hospice & Palliative Medicine.

Her clinical practice experience, with a cradle to grave perspective of the patient journey across disease spectrums and where/ when/ how this intersects with potential clinical trial participation informs recruitment and retention strategies.

In off time Faith enjoys the outdoors and creating art, particularly sculpture and mixed media.

He leads Elligo’s financial strategy and execution, demonstrating a proven ability to guide the company through periods of significant growth and transformation.

Before joining Elligo, Jake held roles in investment banking with Sheshunoff & Co. and in corporate development at Carriage Services (NYSE: CSV), where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments. His background spans valuation, forecasting, and financial reporting, with a consistent focus on aligning financial performance with long-term business objectives.

Jake holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his family, playing soccer, and trying out different Texas BBQ recipes.

Before joining Elligo, Barry served as CEO and Chief Operating Officer at LabConnect, a global central laboratory, where he led large-scale operations in project management, clinical kitting, accessioning, and biorepository services. His background also includes leading global laboratory partnerships, scaling private equity-backed companies, and improving performance across complex research operations.

Barry holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise and an MBA from King University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and staying active through hiking, skiing, and time at the lake.
